<description><![CDATA[ {{{2010-09-11 2010-09-11}}} <p>The AIDS Walk is returning to Spokane and registration is now open. The Spokane AIDS Walk will take place September 11 at Riverfront Park with registration starting at 9:30a.m. at the North Bank Shelter. The walk will commence at 10:30 a.m. with both 4 mile and 1 mile walk and run options. The theme this year is &ldquo;Cover your head!&rdquo; and includes a hat contest for the most original hat, most creative hat, etc. as well as prizes for the individual and teams raising the most funds. Registration is available online through a link at <a href="http://www.SpokaneAIDS.org">www.SpokaneAIDS.org</a>. The cost to register is $20 for adults and $15 for children/youth; each participant will receive a t-shirt and water bottle. All proceeds support the Spokane AIDS Network in their work to serve those living with HIV &amp; AIDS and to prevent the spread of the disease.
